In the film, we find Marilyn Watelet, Chantal Akerman’s childhood friend, who co-founded the production company Paradise Films in the 1970s with her sister Claudine and mother Nicole Watelet. Chantal Akerman also filmed the courtyard of the former Hotel de Clèves-Ravenstein, located near the old Cinema Museum of the Cinémathèque royale de Belgique (CINEMATEK), where they were regular visitors. Coincidentally, fifty years later, the Chantal Akerman Foundation is established with the support of CINEMATEK, which has occupied the site since 2006.
