Starting from several reports from Settimana Incom, the short film reflects on the theme of bad weather as a stereotype in Italian narratives about climate change. The predominant tone is dramatic, not informative, focused on reporting, and lacking any sense of accountability. Like a digital interface, archival windows open on a screen while a voice comments on events from both today and the past. These are words written by journalist Antonio Cederna in several articles published between 1972 and 1988. What was once referred to as “bad weather” should now be called a “climate crisis.” Yet, it seems little progress has been made.
